I heard parts of ESPN Radio's coverage of the Masters yesterday (first time I've heard extended golf coverage on the radio - it's very bizarre to say the least). With hours upon hours of uninterrupted coverage they have a lot of times to wax poetic on a number of topics including the players' outfits. During the few minutes I listened, they indeed were talking about Freddie's entire outfit and mentioned the shoes indeed did have spikes.
Personally I think I'm more impressed with the fact that a 50 year old can still wear white pants.
