Perez has had success against Sun Belt Conference teams. He scored 27 points against ULM and 22 points against the UL Cajuns, and Centenary won both games.


Perez also scored 20 against Oklahoma and 25 versus Marquette, and he had a career-high 32 points in a win over Southwestern Assemblies of God. He scored 20-plus points in the season’s first four games and reached double figures 22 times on the season.


Perez, a New Iberia, La. native, earned third-team honors on the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) All-Louisiana squad.


Perez also plays baseball at Centenary, and he will at least consider doing the same at MTSU.


An outfielder and right-handed pitcher, Perez has a .240 batting average and one home run in nine games this season. On the mound, he has allowed no hits and no runs in 2 2/3 innings.

Sounds like a nice catch.

On a related note WKU got a verbal from the #12 Juco guard today.

A good player, no doubt. He had contacted us when Centenary played in Lafayette. Since that time, Lee obviously is gone....Our new Coach and his stud recruiting asst. decided to go in another direction. :)

oooh now as far as smack goes, that was a good one. and yes I think Tech very much wanted him. He is a good pick up for you guys
