For the sake of argument I'm willing to bet that it was black folks who named the league the "Negro" league. So why is the word Negro, which blacks seemed to embrace not long ago wrong today?

They did name it that way. That was the proper way to refer to the entire race as a whole back then. Words become archaic after a few years and then it is no longer proper to use them, see mulatto.

They haven't renamed the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

That is true. I don't have an answer for that. There has been big issues in the past about the name but it has never been voted on. Also the amount of people who actually care about the NAACP is negligible so I hardly think that it's a litmus test over the feelings of a whole society.

Yea, you sure know what you are talking about. There a whole slew of org. dedicated to colored people. The same for white people would be racist. Feelings of a whole society? You talking about black society? Must be, because nobody gives a d@mn about the feelings of whole white society.

Yeah but what percentage of black people are active members of those groups? I sure as hell don't know anyone. The groups are there for posterity and perhaps the random scholarship. If all of us were a part of, and took advantage of the NAACP, Affirmative Action, UNCF, or whatever you are trying to get at; I'm pretty sure that my *** wouldn't have spent my fun years as a Coastie for college money.

I am also not going to get into the benefits of white v. black society like you would want me to you troll. I see why Fo won't even acknowledge your f***ing posts.

No, you guys just hate it when I call nonsense on your posts, coastie.

Where is the nonsense?

So if I go with, yes the position of the NAACP and other groups is the perfect way to determine the way that all the people of a particular group people think. You need to meet and talk to a normal black person one day SOAF we aren't all against the white man like you think.

Well for one, I wasn't calling you pathetic. I was calling the situation pathetic...................... and this is very important Paul. So pay attention. Calling a situation pathetic doesn't even compare to the diatribe above. Sorry it doesn't. Now go back to your daily hatred of all things associated with "The President of the United States of America". I feel sorry for you actually. You are the only person who seems to have a problem with a call for common decorum. You bring it up every post to me. You want to berate people and call them "f'n retarded cocksmokeing twits". I get it.

I would never try to reconcile the inclination of a group of people. If you try, they will make you look very silly each and every time. Au contraire, it is you that has the "litmus test over the feelings of a whole society". Ergo, whole Black society. Are these simple undeniable truths, self evident? I must be missing something. I do not think so. De onmibus dubitandum.

I actually didn't finish my first thought in that post. The first sentence was supposed to end with, "would that fit in your thought process". But to my knowledge I have never said that I had the litmus test. In fact I would like to call upon you to highlight the phrase where I said such a thing.

Was a ball. High and outside. Not even very close to the plate. But didn't bounce it in.
