Breaking News - Ronald McGhee commits to North Texas

Former Univ. of New Orleans commitment Ronald McGhee has now officially committed to North Texas. The 6'4" sharpshooting guard from Istrouma High in Baton Rouge, LA is going from one Sun Belt school in UNO to now the Sun Belt Conference tournament champs Mean Green of North Texas where he will play for former LSU coach Johnny Jones. McGhee will also get to join forces with Louisiana natives Josh White, also of Baton Rouge(Christian Life) and Kedrick Hogans of New Orleans(Edna Karr). Mcghee, the 2010 7-4A district MVP and 1st team All-State Selection averaging 22.4 points, 5.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds. McGhee led Istrouma to it's first quarterfinal berth in his high school career before falling on the road to eventual state champion Peabody. McGhee is the son of Ronnie and Cheryl McGhee.
