Only one school will EVER own this league - WKU.

We just happen to rent it out every now and then!

I think stAte will very likely win the regular season next year. Not just because they will be much better next year, but also because the East will be very, very even.

The tournament will be a crap shoot just like this year.

I don't know about ASU "owning" the league.

RE: So ...
ASU and FAU probably relied more on freshmen than anyone and both had times they looked really good and had some really rough patches.

ASU SCARES me next year. Brady has done a good job. If he sticks around he should win some championships.

Starting three seniors and two juniors? I wouldn't spend the money if I were an AD. If they were starting several underclassmen, I'd pay to get the extra practice time.

Doubtful. If he can find a way to justify firing a "championship" coach "in this economy" then I'll buy Massaro a diamond-studded pinkie ring and kiss it daily.

Just wondering.

He's always been the best player in the league. he's just not 6-7 with freakish size so he cant block 12 shots a game and grab 20gazillion rebounds along with his 20 points

We had to guard Johnson but never from 3. We had to stay on slughter the minute he crossed half court...and cover well on screens only to watch him push off a big and get a free look

Man, give it a rest already. Slaughter is a fine player but you can't fault the vote that gave it to Johnson - the guy had a great year. Yes, his team didn't perform well, but I doubt that if Slaughter were a Cajun instead of Johnson we'd have seen the win total leap upward.

RE: So ...
AJ is a good player, but I thought his early play in the season and then the struggles wku went through with serge down hurt his chances. When the expectation of POY is placed upon you at the preseason, you either live up to the billing or you don't. AJ unfortunately suffered from the bar being set a little high and the slow start/conference play woes just left him short. AJ is a fine player and is worthy of consideration. I have no problem with Johnson getting the award.

BTW Slaughter has definitely been an ASU assassin this season. just harsh to the Red wolves.
