I'd much prefer our bowls in December weather.

Your Bowl... not plural... You only get the other bowls if one of the other conference fails to deliver on their end.

Aside from the Humanitarian Bowl the MAC Bowls are indoors (Intnl, LC) or in a slightly better climate Tulsa.

We have primary New Orleans and GMAC.
There is no bowl game in Tulsa, and the climate in Boise is quite a bit different from Tulsa.
International still doesn't have a contract with the Big East for next year so don't count that game for this season until it gets certified.

The only conference that I would prefer other than the SBC, that we might have a shot at joining, would be CUSA. The MAC is just about the same as the SBC and has too many colder venues for my liking. 05-nono
