If some of you get your way on a coaching change...
and you want to be like Gonzaga. Here's my choice-
#1 rated midmajor assistant- Leon Rice, Gonzaga
Leon Rice is considered by many as one of the best associate head coaches on the collegiate level. Rice has been with Gonzaga since Mark Few took the head-coaching job in 1999. Rice is responsible for the signing of some of the nations top young players, which has helped the Bulldogs achieve a record of 236-60 during his tenure.
I think he's in his mid-40's

He should feel right at home at the Jack. It is based on the design of "the Kennel".
Don't know how he will like the public/commuter/southern aspects of UALR. Culture shock?
If he knows how to get the players we need, we should consider him.

Sounds to me like he's the head coach in waiting at Gonzaga. Seems like a very qualified person, but could he recruit this part of the country. He's been recruiting the Northwest part of the country for years and all his contacts are probably in that area. Those players might go to Gonzaga, but not likely to come all the way to Little Rock.
Sounds like a coach on the rise, but probably not for our program.
