RE: MBB-next year
Louisiana will be much better. We arent losing much, plus we'll have a new coach... You've seen what we can do this year since Lee has "stopped" over-coaching and let the boys play relaxed...
Shame on us for letting our basketball reach the depths it has...

I don't know that the talent has fallen off, but Lee is one bad coach. With that said, he was right there to beat a Louisville team that made it to the final 4 just a couple of years ago.

What CMJ said.
Our primary additions next year will be the guys who were forced to miss this year under medical redshirts. Kedrick Hogans in the post and Dominique Johnson at the point.
Losing Tramiel hurts, but the last time we lost a dominant post player (Keith Wooden in 2007/08), we slid Tramiel right in there as a new recruit to take over for Keith.
Honestly... Losing Tramiel, even though he plays a much bigger role in our offense, is probably the better guy to go out of our starting frontcourt. Odufuwa does so much in rebounding and defending under the basket, and he still averages eleven and a half points. I think it's generally easier to find a guy to score big down low than it is to find someone who can handle everything else AND score big when he's needed. Not saying Tramiel is one dimensional, because he most assuredly is not... Just that Odufuwa is probably more essential in an all-around sense.
It is harder to replace an inside scorer than it may seem but with our point guard coming back the load will be off of Josh and he will likely get back to being a scorer. If Shannon continues his development we more of our scoring will come from the perimeter (Kedrick is solid and is really needed this year but is not a scorer). Not to say that is bad, our offense will be tough to stop.

USA will be much better next year. If not for injuries and academic casualties depleting their depth they would have been a contender this year. Just consider the big (mostly double-digit) leads USA held against most of their opponents before fading away in the second half in their losses. USA beat Arkansas and Florida this year out of conference, but the loss of several players has them reeling. Also they only have 2 seniors. I look for USA to put a very capable team on the court next year.

At least 4 of the seniors will get a 5th year.
The only true loss is Tyren Johnson.
