Much snow in Bowling Green ?
Was driving out in the snow earlier, and starting to get slick, esp. off the main roads.

I'd say we have 2 inches here in the 'Boro already, and supposed to snow up until about noon on Saturday.

Wonder what that does to the hoops games this weekend ?

Our beatwriter is/was driving between Bowling Green and Murfreesboro to cover Saturday's game, and he's apparently packed it in and gotten a hotel for the night.

RE: Much snow in Bowling Green ?
We're supposed to get anywhere from 5-9 inches of snow by game time tomorrow.

Between that and the losses, Diddle will be the most empty it has been since probably the "Valentines Day Massacre" against FAU a few years ago.

Only change so far here is that the women's game has been moved from 2 to 4 pm (vs. North Texicans), with the men's game to follow.

Any TV for you guys? Just wondering if there's a chance I can hit up a bar to pick up a premium sports channel and watch it.

I live about 45 minutes south of Bowling Green into TN, and we have 6" of snow and some is still falling. Bowling Green may have a little more then that because they have been under heavier snow then I have...

I measured 3.5 inches at my house last night, although some freezing rain probably compacted it a bit.

Supposedly getting snow off and on today, and down to single digits overnight.

RE: Much snow in Bowling Green ?
they're reporting 5" here. measured about that on my back deck.

honestly....that is by no means enough to keep me from the game. snow is not that hard to drive in with front wheel drive.

it's ice that sucks.

well....that and the morons that don't have a clue how to drive in snow.

Yeah, but I get sick and tired of these so-called expert-driving carpetbaggers who have moved down to Murfreesboro complaining about Southern Drivers.

My wife was up in Connecticut this past week, where they had 2 inches, and she said there were wrecks everywhere.

Murfreesboro and this county are approx. half from up North, so I'd say half of the wrecks were "Northern" drivers.
