He seems very genuine. His blog from prep days is somewhere on the internet. His writing is improving, lol.
I've found that good leaders are also good followers and he seems to have that skill.
It could potentially be a very long four years for this class. Team leadership will be key to keeping this youth experiment, for want of better words, from blowing up completely. Albrecht, if he was really all that unhappy about his own personal use on the team, would have led to dissension and from that perspective the team is probably stronger in his leaving.
With good fortune, each year will bring in at least one with potential to lead his class.
