Congratulations. It's especially gratifying to see someone from the Toledo area actually stay home to play college football and succeed!

Unlike that Sanzenbacher character 03-wink

+1 We've got some other guys who are doing the same- Rogers has become a bit of a pipeline and we have Fatinikun? from Perrysburg. Toledo area HS football is usually pretty weak but there are definitely nuggets of talent out there.

Yeah...there are lots of good BBall players (boys and girls) as well and I get so sick of hearing about them leaving to play elsewhere.

Toledo area football produced three state champs in the last decade. Not all that weak, when population is accounted for. On another board, we had this go round and when population density was accounted for, we did fine in NW Ohio.

Stanford and Ohio St both had receivers from Toledo area catch passes in their bowl games. If Michigan ever gets there, Koger would be on that list also. We seem to produce more receivers and punters than any other position, or maybe that's just my perception.
