FAU played a great game!

NICE!! Great win FAU!

By the way, nice job supporting your team South Alabama. Geez.

Congratulations on the win. Both teams played far from their best games but yours was a little bit better.
I was surorised as many people showed as they did. The schedule makers have done WKU a big favor the last three years by scheduling this game while school is out and this year they added the BCS title game on the same night. Have this game a week later and our crowd blows your team out of the building.

You should be! The Cajuns are a team that can't rebound or shoot the ball. You played in front of zero fan support.

I'm just glad someone in the Belt was finally able to stop the Mobile University juggernaut.

The world can sleep a little more soundly tonight, knowing that their rampage through Division 1 basketball has finally ended.

Here's to you, UNO. You're a role model for some of the other Louisiana schools.

Do yourself a favor sucker.... dont schedule the University of Mobile.

Theoretically, you guys play D-1 basketball.

I'm not happy to have lost, but us losing to a conference mate on the road doesn't hit quite as hard as losing to an NAIA team at home probably would.

Congrats on the win and snapping that five game losing streak.

You shouldn't be happy. Losing to a team that can't rebound or shoot the ball, in front of zero fans is bad. It should have been just like playing on a neutral court. So much for being a favorite in the west.05-stirthepot

It's obvious some teams respond to injuries better than we have this season, that's for sure. A truly good team could suck it up. We are so lost without DJ and Eric it's unbelieveable.

RPI question,

Since Troy had a hihger RPI the FAU, how does this affect the Confrence total RPI?

Or is it a wash since we are in the same confrence?

This is true when a team suffers injuries to key athletes. The Cajuns have had a number of injuries this year and last year. Unfortunately, we aren't much better with those athletes in the rotation.

Its a wash for conference RPI.

There is an RPI gain for FAU whenever an east team beats a west team (RPI loss whenever an East team loses to a West team) however it will not fully materialize until near the end of the season.
