You read it right. (ESPN2)

Under 8 min's to play. BSU 22 WMU 17

Cards playing good D and special teams.

Cards just scored on a punt run back for 6.

And it's raining hard.

If I'm not mistaken, they said Hiller needs 1 more TD pass to break Pennington's career TD pass record.
-------------------
Under 6 min's. Broncos just turned it over on downs.

Under 2 min's. Cards grinding it out.

1:13 Cards to punt.

GREAT coverage by Cards. Ball at 13. How good is Hiller?

Hiller leads Broncs into Cards territory. No TO's left. :45

4th and 10. Bowl eligibility on the line right now....

Cards pick Hiller!!!!!! The fat lady takes a deep breath. Whoa.....fat lady.....

The win improved the Cards to 2-10 overall and 2-6 in the MAC. WMU drops to 5-7 overall and 4-4 in the MAC.
----------------------

Why did I do a game thread on BSU and WMU?

I don't know. I guess it's interesting that WMU ripped us a new one in the GB, we beat BSU in Muncie, yet they beat WMU in Kazoo.

So, we should have been able to beat WMU at home. Right?

Oh well, that's history and I digress.

I kind of thought Ball State was better than their record showed - and they had a redshirt freshman QB who was improving when we played them (Page). I didn't see the game last night, but when BSU played Central, Page wasn't playing - so I'm assuming he got hurt. The other guy wasn't too bad.

I still cannot believe WMU stomped us like that. OSU and CMU - somewhat understandable. But losses to WMU, Miami, and even Temple (I don't care what their record is, that team reminded me of the FIU game from last year) are games that set us back this year.

I thought exactly the same thing; we lost 2 games we shouldn't had. I know all teams loose one they should win (ie OSU v. Purdue/ND v U Conn) But what gives?

A healthy Opelt would have made a difference in at least two of the losses.
