I went to the BG v Michigan hockey game Saturday night at the Lucas County Arena and was pleasantly surprised to see so many wearing UT logo's on the night of the Michigan v OSU football game.

A few examples;

- A group of 7 or 8 college aged men all wearing BG Orange (or similar) except one who was wearing a gold "TOLEDO" sweatshirt.

- One of the ushers standing at the main entrance, wore her usher uniform vest over a UT shirt. I saw this guy in a OSU shirt walk up to her to give her the business about how the Buckeyes beat Michigan and she said, she didn't care she roots for the Rockets. He only saw blue and yellow and didn't know what to say.

- I purchased a 50/50 ticket from a BG girl and she said "Oh great, another Toledo Fan... you know I'll make sure you don't win this tonight" It was all in fun as she was joking--I think, after all I didn't win $700.00

- There were numerous others such as myself wearing UT hats.

For being a non-UT event there was a lots of Rocket-love in the air.

I had the same thing happen last night at the Whitehouse Inn... a guy said something about my midnight blue beanie (with a Rocket logo on the front) and asked why I would be wearing something like that after the game earlier.

I guess the Rocket helmet on the back of my hoodie wasn't clue enough?

Was at the game with Rocket A and we were sporting our UT hats. Wow did BG look bad last night!

Yeah, most of decent players BG had jumped ship last year. The Falcons looked undermanned. SOG were 3:1, advantage Michigan.

Yep, BG had no jump at all. I have no idea how they won at Michigan the previous night 4-2

Winning at Michigan isn't that hard. We do it every time we play them in football.
