So...are we ahead of UL? Or is it just a list with no order?

Only about 6-7k at the ULM/WKU game from what I heard listening to the Big Red Radio Network back here at home.

RE: FB: Attendance
That is ridiculous. I'll call them like I see them on ULM attendance. The attendance is spot on at the 16k. I actually was guessing we'd announce 18k, but 16k was about right. NO WAY 6-7k.

The Big Red Radio Network could only see the upper deck of the west side from where they're sitting and you can't estimate attendance looking from the press box. The lower deck was pretty crowded between the 20's and it's out of sight from the press box.

We're not averaging more than UL... so we're behind them. We have them beat in total attendance because we play more home games than they do.

Ok, they were saying on the radio broadcast too that they were way up and, like you said, if they couldn't see the lower deck...then they would give a wrong estimate by far. Thanks for the clarification...

No worries. Some of us have been going to games at Malone since it was built in 1978 and we've gotten to be pretty good at making estimates of the crowd size. One guy I know was off by about 100 at the game!
