SBC soccer title game: UALR vs Denver
For those interested...
The women's SBC soccer championship game is this Saturday at 1:00pm EST.
#8 seed UALR, who barely got the last seeding available to play in the Championships with a 4-6-1 conference record, is playing in the finals against #2 seed Denver. UALR has torn off two big wins to get to the title game, upsetting #1 seed FIU 1-0 in overtime, and then defeating #4 UNT 1-0.
#2 seed Denver, sporting a 16-5-1 (9-2) record has been breezing past the competition, beating #7 Troy 3-0 and #6 Arkansas State 3-1 on their way to the finals.
Denver is looking to win it's 4th straight Sun Belt tournament title, while UALR is hoping to win it's first ever Sun Belt title. Looks to be an interesting match-up. Here is the SBC Soccer Championships Central
