I heard Coach Shields press interview at the
SBC on DTS this afternoon. He commented on Mike Smith, who last year reported in at around 305 pounds, and is not at 258. Also Lionel, who has lost from around 204 to 190, and his stamina has improved.
Nothing much more than his October 12th website report.

John Brady's interview was also played, and he sounded a little miffed at being picked so low in the pre season poll. ASU will be playing with a chip on their shoulders.04-cheers

Brady definately has stAte going the right way. I have no doubt they will be good. The Belt is a little tricky to pick this year. I'd say at least half to two thirds of the teams will be as good or better than last year. That makes for an interesting season.
