No way was there 10,000 people at the Troy vs FIU game. Maybe there was 6,000.

How many does UNT hold?

Just curious as I saw one endzone basically was empty.

Guys, check out the CUSA boards. Everyone blasting Tulane, including coach Toledo for lack of fan support / atmosphere at a TV game from the Dome yesterday against Houston. All except UAB folks of course. (they are in the same boat). Tulane listed over 23,000 in dome and by all other accounts....less than 8,000. Some even calling for Tulane to drop out of CUSA....Interesting reading...

I think this is the case for most of us in SBC, CUSA, MAC.

I know FAU lists 12-15K usually, but I know thats not "accurate"

FAU in reality gets 9-12K IMHO of Fans in the seats.

The problem with Tulane playing in the Superdome is that they really could have had 23000 there and it would have looked empty. It holds nearly 73,000 for football so even with 23000 there we are talking less than a third full. That is going to look empty, period!! Didn't see the game so I couldn't guess.

Naw, we've stopped lying about attendance ever since Pete Garcia became AD in 2007. There were 10,000 in the stands, heck there were 3,000 - 4,000 students and Troy had about 300 -400 people there. 10,142 is correct as it seemed a tad bit smaller than the Toledo crowd and that one was 11,500 or so, so 10,000 is right.

You know..if the school says there are 12,000..or 25,000 that is all that matters and that is what counts....

USA -vs- Lousiburg - 15,754

4 Game season average - Just over 19,000

Not too bad for who we have to play this year....Hopefully, really good numbers when FBS / SBC come to town....Can't wait til 2010 because it's one year closer to 2011 when we play our first FBS game at Kent State. We will take our whoopins just like everybody else but our folks are ready for our first full FBS schedule in 2012.

Same with us, but we still average 10k more than you.

what no "home" game in Little Rock this year to pad the attendance stats?

i would hope that you would have more attendance.

lets look at the population...

Lafayette 113,544
Monroe 51,208

I guess you should have a lot more than 10k more! Can't wait till our game. Stupid Cajuns.

Take out your Southern game and our Texas Southern game (both SWAC) and ULM probably averages about 5K more than ULL for home games.
