That loss hurts bad, really bad. This is a bad NT team with a ton of talent. Look at the stats - and I know - the only stat that counts is the score. We were the better team tonight - just terrible mistakes and turnovers. Also, some crap calls by the refs - 2 were pretty bad. This one makes me mad and I have actually "cared" if NT won or loss for a few years now.

I agree, you guys played better and deserved to win Stebo. I think your offense is miles ahead of the Cajuns, but I like our defense more then the Mean Green. Because of our offense, the defense was left on the field for 35 mins tonight and made big plays when it needed too. Your D-line never put any rush on the Cajuns QB's, we just couldn't catch the ball when Masson hit his targets, other times he was way off on his throws.

I'm going to personally send Dodge a thank you note for the int's. Its clear, if you put good pressure on him he will throw the ball away. Kudo's to your staff for putting a good game plan together and best of luck to you guys the rest of the year.

Good game to both teams (I guess). I only watched the first half on CSS and it was muy sloppy (then went to some friends house and it was UF v. LSU the rest of the night).

What I noticed from seeing what I could was that Riley is not the same player as before the injury, unfortunately. It seems once those spread QB's get hurt they tend not to stick it in there as much and the defenses can key on his other options more.

Anyways, good effort by the mean green and good W for the Cajuns.

If you were the better team you wouldn't have terrible mistakes and turnovers.

Refs calls were ridiculous on both sides.

Exactly right about the terrible mistakes and turnovers. Talent doesn't do that.

Unfortunately, the two calls Stebo is referring to were correct calls. We just like to complain.

For the most part, the officiating crew made the right calls. I was standing on the sideline all game and I think the one most UNT fans were upset with ,was the call on fourth down that continued the Cajun drive. The pass was not catchable, but the linebacker was holding the back of TE Aubrey's jersey before the pass was thrown. The penalty is missed alot in college football, but the sideline judge was standing in front of the play.

Turnovers and poor special team play lost the game for the Mean Green.
You had one punt blocked and returned for a touchdown, and the punter shanked a 19 yarder at the end of the game giving the Cajuns the ball on the 50 yard line for the winning drive.

RE: We gave that game away tonight.
Well, the Mean Green had a good game plan, but just failed to execute it at critical times. I guess I am a little disillusioned with Riley Dodge. In addition to his 2 interceptions and fumble, he was really lucky not to have picked off at least 3 other times, one of which would have been a pick-six. On the other side, the Cajun Offense has not yet gotten on track. At times they moved the ball, at other times they could not buy a first down. I expect to see more of a mix of the #1 and #2 QBs in the next game against WKU. This combination was more effective for the Cajuns in the 4th quarter. The RB for the Mean Green was a beast, and when RD was on, the passing game was very effective. You just cannot win with that many turnovers. Also, credit the Cajun Offense for coming up strong in the 4th quarter when it counted. All in all, we were fortunate to get the win. Hopefully the offense will get on track before we get into the meat of the conference schedule. Having said that, the Cajuns are 3-2. If someone would have told me that this would be the record at this point, I would have gladly taken it.

On to next week...
