The announced attendance was 17,063 in a steady rain. Next game is a home game against Georgia Military Academy on Saturday, November 10.

One of my favorite Blue Raider linebackers, J.K. Sabb played at Georgia Military before coming to MT.

The score could have just as easily been USA, 84 -- Army Prep, 0. Coach Joey Jones showed much class by pulling the first string after it was 21-0 after the 1st quarter and subbing the 2nd string. When it was 35-0 at the end of the 2nd quarter, the Jags had the ball on the 9 yard line (IIRC) with 4 seconds left and instead of kicking the chip-shot field goal, did a QB keeper to run out the clock...

3rd quarter -- in comes the 3rd string. 4th quarter -- in comes the fourth string. Almost nothing but running plays during the entire 2nd half -- classy beatdown!!! Way overmatched.... These Jags could play with any mid-level D-IAA school and stay within one or two scores in my not-so-humble opinion. Then again, I don't know a helluvalot either when it comes to these topics :-)

I guess we'll see next year when the Jags play a mostly FCS schedule.

USA needs to move up to FCS already!
