William Cole, a former Cedar Hills standout who played last season at Oklahoma State, has enrolled at UNT.

He was recruited as a wide receiver. He will sit out this season and will then have two years of eligibility remaining.

I will have some more thoughts on Cole and some additional news later on. Check back on the blog.

This gives NT 2 Big 12 transfer receivers who will be eligible to play next year. One 3-star, one 4-star.

Tryer Stradford 3-star from Oklahoma. 2 years eligibility left.
William Cole 4-star from Oklahoma State 2 years eligibility left.

Stradford made an xfer appeal hoping to be eligible this year, but NCAA didn't grant it.

Congratulations. Now be prepared to get blasted by the MTSU guys.

Speaking of bailouts. Will the muts ever get a chance to play in the New Orleans Bowl or will they continue to sink (as they have every year since being in the Sun Belt) during conference play ?

You want to talk about sinking in the conference? North Texas went from SBC dominator to SBC bottom dweller and a complete embarrassment to the SBC in a matter of 3 years. Get ready for another 30 point beat down this season by the "sinking" Blue Raiders.
