Happy Birthday Mr. President
Happy 48th birthday President Obama. Funny to see him share with God herself in 89-year-old Helen Thomas.

I'll wish him a happy birthday, too. Though if your birthday wish is for the current health care legislation to pass, well...

For that matter, please tell Congress it's time for them to take a break and get their month-long, European-style vacations. (Whoever said that we don't learn best practices from other countries?) We certainly don't need any more ill-considered legislation out there.

Could we get some certified copy of some official government record, like maybe a birth certificate, to insure that we celebrate on the right day? 05-stirthepot

"Somewhere on Planet Earth 48 years ago today, Barack OIbama was born..."

I don't like being self-referential, but this really takes the cake. (Following on the bloggers theme semi-intentionally.) Please get them out of there - flying coach, preferably.
