Just remember that the NFL owners include Al Davis. And that man has a thing for speed and flashy things. I really thought they were finally going to turn it all around last year. Russell at QB, McFadden at RB, a decent set of receivers. It just hasn't happened. Instead of focusing on the problem, which is a thrown together OL, Davis will just go after some speedy receiver. Who is to say the old senile cook would listen to anything the league and other owners said behind closed doors? Heck, that would just be motivation for him to go ahead with it.

the Raiders haven't come to terms with Heyward-Bey yet, they should lock that one up before opening talks with Vick...if that is the plan.

Oakland is among around 20 NFL teams (so far) that have made public statements that they have no interest in Vick whatsoever. You know he is a pariah when the Raiders want noting to do with him.

PETA is a bunch of wackos. organizations like that gain credibility thanks to celebrities screwing up and using the groups to "make amends" with the public. Did anyone happen to catch the South Park episode where Stand went to live with in the PETA compound? 03-rotfl

And according to ESPN, an Arkansas State guy is going to close the door on that opportunity.

RE: OT: Michael Vick, Where Should He End Up?
i heard that Michael Vick is going to start his own NFL franchise. he will be the owner, coach, and play all positions both offense and defense. in addition, he will also handle cheerleading duties.

he's Michael Vick...He Can Do Anything.
