Just off-season stuff. CBS Sports decade ranking from the bottom up.
BOTTOM TEN
http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/story/11938037
119. Western Kentucky: Division I-A's newest member was the 2002 I-AA national champ. Unlike No. 120, the commitment is there to grow the program. Its 511 victories would rank 26th all-time in I-A.
116. Florida International: Where is the money going? The Panthers took a $700,000 check to play at Iowa last year but can't afford a marching band or cheerleaders?

110-91
110. North Texas: Since four consecutive Sun Belt titles earlier in the decade, the Mean Green are 8-39. The prospects are not good.
107. Louisiana-Lafayette: Rickey Bustle came from Virginia Tech in 2002 as one of the nation's hottest assistants. He has won six games in a season three times.
106. Louisiana-Monroe: The 2007 win at Alabama stands as one of the biggest upsets of the decade. Since then, the Warhawks are 5-8.
100. Middle Tennessee: Head coach Rick Stockstill has shared a Sun Belt title and beat Maryland in his three seasons.
99. Arkansas State: Steve Roberts has brought some stability to the other program in Arkansas. The Indians have been 6-6 in three of the past four seasons.

More biased junk. The fact that he ranked ASU and MT where he did proves that he's biased.

And the fact that he called us the Indians shows he really doesn't know who we are.

I have to admit that I still forget about the name change, but I don't write articles for major publications/websites. This guy is laughable. There are several teams in the MAC/Conf USA and a couple in the WAC and even a few in the BCS conferences that are worse than MT and ASU. You can't fight stupid.

A couple of bowl appearances, beating the likes of Maryland, Vanderbilt and Texas A&M, giving Texas, Louisville, and Virginia all they wanted and then some....yea, I could come up with a couple of teams worst than that!!

At least Troy will get some respect. They seem to have the perception thing working for them at this point. Don't get me wrong, Troy is good, but they will probably rate them in the Top 80 and vs where ASU and MT are ranked, that would be skewed. I do think ranking Troy below the Top 60 is wrong as well. I would put FAU in the Top 70, MT and ASU in the Top 80 and ULL and FIU in the Top 90 based on last years play. That may change a bit depending on who's coming back this year, but to fill out the "bottom of the barrell" with Sunbelt teams is just lazy and/or not well thought out.

I think FAU loses respect from the outsiders because of the way their OOC games end up.

Maybe, but many of these other teams don't play the type of schedules Sun Belt teams play: SEC and ACC.

71-90
79. Florida Atlantic: Yeah, yeah the Owls have been Division I-A since only 2005, but Howard Schnellenberger has beaten UAB, Memphis and Minnesota as well as sharing a Sun Belt title. Not bad for a program that started in 2001.
