RE: Ben Gordon to the Pistons
I don't know how to feel about it. Until his explosion in the playoffs I couldn't care less. It'd have been nice to get something for him instead of just letting him go, but there's better things we can do with the money.

RE: Ben Gordon to the Pistons
I think this will make the Bulls worse in the short term, but better in the long term. This will make Derrick Rose take the shots at the end of the game, so he can go through those growing pains in a year that the Bulls aren't going all out to win. They are trying to save up for the 2010 free agents. Also, Ben Gordon is not a starer on a championship team, he doesn't play defense at all and is way too streaky, so why would you give someone starter money when they are best suited coming off the bench?

ben gordon cannot play defense, does not pass, and cannot handle the ball. the guy will score 25 ppg but is subpar at every other aspect of the game.

RE: Ben Gordon to the Pistons
Gordon is going to end up making about the same amount of money as he would have if he took what the Bulls had offered him in the last few years. Plus he would have been towards the end of his contract and would have been a FA in a couple years and could have signed another contract. So he actually lost money by waiting it out, too bad.

I'm glad he's gone. I've watched almost every Bulls game since he's been in Chicago and he's all about himself. In the playoffs this year there was a play I remember where he caught a pass on the 3 point arc and Kirk was WIDE open in the corner and instead of passing it he drove to the lane and forced up a shot and got rejected and you could see Kirk was clearly frustrated. Other than his scoring (which he forces a lot)..his defense blows, he's undersized for a 2 guard, his ball handling skills are average, doesn't rebound, doesn't pass, and he isn't a good compliment to Rose which is all that really matters from here on out.
