i wasn't doggin' the troy fans. i just found it amusing. i've been around long enough to unnastand that football is king in alabammer.

but they were having one heckuva season in hoops and leading the east.

i think they may have turned the corner in hoops. their coach has been a winner in every conference they played in.

when you move into a new conference it takes a couple of years to bring your recruits up to the level of that conference. i'm not sayin' the belt is the acc but i'm sure it's a bit tougher than the one they came from.

they may become a player from here on out. we'll see.

The FB board is far and away the most active one at gtt.com. As of now:

Our 'Everything Else' Forum is a distant 2nd: 2,376 Threads - 16,149 Posts

Total Combined for all Non-FB forums is: 5,142 Threads - 36,446 Posts.

So 2/3 of the traffic over there is on just one of the forums. A lot of times, people post non-football stuff there since it gets more traffic. It usually gets moved to the correct spot, but folks still put it there.

And a ton of folks only go there to discuss football. I occasionally dip into the other ones during the seasons. Or the Everything Else. But Football is year-round in Alabama. If it isn't the season, it is recruiting. If it isn't recruiting, it is spring practice. If it isn't spring, it is pre-season.
