I thought I heard what you heard. I wasn't paying real close attention to the moron however. The released text differs slightly, but I wouldn't put it past the moron to say something like this, because you know deep down in his leftist heart, he was probably cheering for the jihadis.

well, I'm sure this is what Jeremiah Wright would approve of, given his 9/11 sermon.

Sure would be nice if we could just stick our heads in the sand, blame ourselves and wish this away wouldn't it.

weakness is what they heard over there, playing with fire.

Yea, I heard it, he has no respect for the TROOPS. I also heard him say Iran should have the RIGHT to develop Nuclear Power. I also heard him compare the dislocation of the Palestinians to the murder of 6 million Jews during the Holocaust. I heard him call America a torture nation. We waterboarded 3 people, Muslims murder innocent people, behead people and oppress women, but we are the torture nation.

Fine Speech Pres. AssholeHussian

He even said something about slavery. America is a slavery nation.

I think you're smart enough to know the relationship between the crusaders and the current west which includes the US. At least I hope you're smart enough, maybe I gave you to much credit.

I'm smart enough to know how MY philosophy behind a "Just war," "National sovereignty," and "property ownership/rights" is developed. I'm also smart enough to know that if you reject the basis behind those Western concepts, that you can't call upon them when it's convenient. Especially not in an arbitrary fashion.

That's what Western liberals do, because they don't have a viable systematic philosophy. And that's what other cultures play on when it serves their purposes.

I'm not quite that gullible. I'll listen if those cultures want to offer their reasoning behind their claims to ownership of territories. I'll also impose my Western axiom that their arguments be internally consistent and not self-refuting. If that doesn't play, then I guess we're back to "might makes right."

The point being, don't try to play me as a fool just because Western liberals are so far along that path. And there are plenty of down-to-earth US citizens who feel the same way. They may not articulate it in quite the same fashion, but they have enough worldly sense to know stupidity when they see it.

RE: I'm sorry.....but..
Which Crusades?

The Islamic Crusades(i.e. Jihad) started by the pedophile Prophet himself, which took the Middle East via Jihad and turned it from Christian to Islamic? and ultimately failed at taking Europe into the Caliphate, thanks to Charles Martel fighting them off and saving Western Civilization...which started in the 700's AD

or the Christian Crusades that came after the initial Jihad, in attempts to take back the lands Muhammed took from them? Which started after the Millenia

ironically/ignorantly, many that criticize one side of the Crusades think Palestinians have the right to the land the British Gave to modern day Israel.

oh yeah, our retarded PC Schools only teach one side of history

Details, details.

The common "defense" behind the Islamic Crusades is that it was their land prior to the Israelites taking it (and subsequently the Greeks and Romans. Apprently Persian, Babylonian, Assyrian, and Egyptian conquests were acceptable). Which is why I simply took the tack of asking what is their basis of Property Rights, National Sovereignty, etc. I want the key concepts defined before any discussion of history and details. Otherwise you enter an infinite loop of discussing historical ownership, conquests, etc, where one argument after another is presented, even if they are self-contradictory.

That foundational approach works toward solving problems from everything from farming to construction to scientific endeavors. If people were serious about solving this issue, they'd take that approach. It won't stop the irrational and passionate, but it would provide a groundwork for addressing them too.

I don't believe leaders are all that serious about solving too many problems, b/c they believe that problems keep them employed. And the system weeds out the true problem solvers and retains the long-winded, empathic feelers who want to discuss problems.

When Muhammed calls for a Global Caliphate and Global Sharia Law, which is what Al-Qaeda and the other orthodox believers are calling for....they mean Global. They don't mean, well all the world except for the USA if you simply get rid of your military!
