OT: MT's Murphy Center was Nashville & region's premier indoor concert venue
Article discusses the acts who came to Murfreesboro and the beautiful Murphy Center for their performances before the Nashville Arena (now the Sommet Center) was built in the mid-nineties.

For over two decades if the hottest acts in the music and entertainment business wanted to play Music City, they had to come to the 'boro. There were some really great acts who played in Murfreesboro. Here is a list of the acts who played the Murphy Center:
