When you start dealing in the world of charitable entities, then you start having to deal with the IRS. They(runners, agents, etc.) may have stumbled into a loophole, but what they may have actually stumbled into was a snare. The IRS doesn't mess around and they don't really care which school you come from or whether or not your daddy is a rapper. Cal's foundation had better watch out and be doing things on the up and up or he may be having a face to face appointment with an IRS agent...and it won't be pretty.

College sports is Big business.... Where can a player like Derrick Rose Play for a 1 year scholarship help fill venues when and where ever he played and the following year sign a multi million dollar contract with the NBA. The NCAA is The Middle Man with certain guidelines which are easily manicpulated and circumvented.
