Obama Criticizes Self
Quote: President Barack Obama, calling current deficit spending “unsustainable,” warned of skyrocketing interest rates for consumers if the U.S. continues to finance government by borrowing from other countries.

Hold on! Isn't it his spend without tax policies driving these unsustainable deficits? 03-confused Sorry I forgot he is going to trim $100million out of the next budget.

Quote:“We have to pay interest on that debt, and that means we are mortgaging our children’s future with more and more debt.”

We? Oui?! Do you live in France?!? There is no we, it's da Democrats and you President Hussein are their leader.

Quote:Earlier this week, the Obama administration revised its own budget estimates and raised the projected deficit for this year to a record $1.84 trillion, up 5 percent from the February estimate.

Now that's fiscal restraint!!! 01-wingedeagle

Obama Says U.S. Long-Term Debt Load ‘Unsustainable’

Sounds like somebody is setting the stage for a MASSIVE across the board tax increase.

Ding, Ding Ding, Ding Ding, Ding Ding, Ding

It is absolutely unbelievable how obtuse this man can be, talking like he has had nothing to do with the current deficit.

This guy's got balls. He does exactly what we didn't want him to do and then he lectures us for it.

Yep... and also, by increasing the projected deficit, he can claim a greater savings when he does it. I mean, we're already at 1.84 trillion... as long as it stays under $2trillion, you think anyone would notice?? Half this country thinks $199.99 is one hundred and something dollars... while $200 is two hundred.

Let's not Quibble? I do notice, and it's $1.89 trillion not $1.84 trillion.
