I was going to claim that I'm King Juan Carlos I of Spain but if certain people are going to investigate it I won't bother.I was so looking forward to inviting you all to the Summer Castle, but alas,I shan't now.

[/quote]Finally, no one is a lawyer unless they have passed a state bar. Thus, there is a record somewhere of every licensed lawyer. I suppose it is possible that someone might graduate from law school, not take the bar, and work in a corporation. Such a person is not a lawyer as they do not hold a law license. It would be akin to a medical school graduate not taking the appropriate boards. They would have no medical license. The only one that comes to mind is Michael Crichton, and he is dead.

He says that he graduated from law school at Memphis. Says he never took the bar.

Then he isn't a lawyer. Being a lawyer implies having a license to practice law. To get one of those in Tennessee, one must graduate from an ABA-accredited law school AND pass the bar exam. Given the cost of law school, I find it difficult to believe anyone who graduated from law school would not at least TAKE the bar. Maybe some are like JFKJr or Harold Ford Jr and could not PASS the bar.

Glad your so sure. I know two people who have law degrees that never cared to take the bar. Both have done very well as business owners. One got a law degree and a masters in accounting simultaneously. He never worked in either field.

Are you serious??? What a classless comment. Whether you liked the guy or not - to ask how a guy in a tragic plane crash is doing these days is pathetic.
