The 13 members of the NTX Paintball team went ballistic this week after learning they’d won a national championship.

The band of University of North Texas students beat 103 teams nationwide in Class AA college paintball, using points gathered from the championship event in Lakeland, Fla., and from their overall season.

Do they have AAU paintball camps? A place where scouts can come look at kids to see how well they "shoot". I had no idea that paintball was even a sanctioned NCAA event or is it?

Looks like I missed out on an opportunity to be a college athlete. I was pretty good back in my high school days down at the place on the southside of Dothan.
