Courtney Lee making WKU proud
Having a good rookie season and great start in the playoffs, first game with 18 pts and tonite leads team with 24. Sure would be nice to see an All Star calliber player in the NBA from the Sunbelt.

RE: Courtney Lee making WKU proud
If he keeps it up, he could be just that. I didn't get to see the game last night, but I watched the first 3 quarters of game 1 and he was the only player that seemed to care they were there. Turkolu was pure rubbish. If I were DHoward, I would've punched him in the sack about 15 times during that game. Howard would come out, set a screen, then roll to the rim, and Turk wouldn't even look at him.

Courtney just had to take over in the 2nd quarter to get them ahead. I thought the game was finished at the end of the 3rd, just because the Magic were ballin'. I'm glad I didn't watch the 4th, because I would've kicked ol' Ron Jeremy in the nuts for putting them in a position to lose.

I thought he was special last night. I know some of the other Belt team fans use to make fun of Topper fans because we knew C Lee was pretty good and a lot thought he didn't deserve player of the year in the league but looks like it was a wise choice. I know a great college career does not always translate to success in the NBA but Courtney appears on the right track. :ncaabbs:

well....you did have a core group of south al fans on jags jungle that had somehow found out that demetric bennet's pubic hairs were 1 ing stronger than courtney lee's (pbuh) and they deduced that forest whittaker jr. (bennett) had been ROBBED when they gave the league mvp to lee. (pbuh)

guess those guys look pretty silly right now. huh?

Dabheed, do you measure the tensile strength of basketball players' pubic hairs as a profession or is more of a recreational thing? :tmi:

c'mon now dos k.....reading for comprehension is a good thing. i said a core group of south al fans found that out. i was in no way involved with the engineering group that performed that study.

i do remember that some of their fans had broken down bennett's, lee's and mccalebs stats to the micro level and they were doing some serious squallin' over lee getting the award.
