3-2 is how it finished. Chase Ware and basically the entire WKU pitching staff matched zeroes. With the only runs scoring on a 2 run WKU homer in the 4th after a 2 out error, and when ASU battled back in the 9th to get a game tying 2 run single

Unfortunately we committed 2 errors in the 10th innings. One on a 2 out grounder that would have ended, but the 2nd basemen slipped as he planted to throw and threw it away allowing WKU to take the lead

ASU loaded the bases for Murray Watts with 2 outs in the 10th but he struck out looking on a 3-2 pitch after an 8 pitch at bat to end it
