MT and WKU both predicted as 3 seeds. We need at least one more. FIU ? Troy?

Let's go out and win some freakin' midweek games, please !

If MT keeps winning and cracks the Top 25, then there is no way they are a 3 seed. And I do expect them to wind up cracking the Top 25.

We must beat Vandy and Tennessee (along with Miss. State) at least once.

Troy has good enough of an RPI to make it, if they continue to win midweek, and improve their play in the Belt.

MT lost about 10 spots this week after our sweep against UALR, so the lower RPI teams will hurt us unless ALL of us win midweek.

That said, MT has lost to Jacksonville State, Lipscomb, and Southern Illinios so far.

As it stands now, only WKU and MT deserve to make it. Once we get further into conference play, a 3rd team will rise in the RPI and should get an at-large bid.

There haven't been many times when the #1 seed, #2 seed, or the tourney host wins it.

Many times it is a 6-seed or similar to win the SBC tourney title. I know us and WKU have done it, in the past.

Just need stAte to get there this year. Get there, and anything can happen, esp. with solid starting pitchers.
