If the Ladies have ever played defense,
sounds like they better play it tonight. Saw where two of Murry's players scored 35 and 28 points respectively in a losing effort in their conference semi-finals. I believe the score was 90-84. That's a lot of points now days, especially in a girls game. I see that they shoot free throws much better than we do, and shoot a lot of threes. Sounds like a real challenge tonight.

Which team shows up, an all around Trojan team effort, or the Chastity Reed team? If it's the former, we have a good chance, but if the latter shows, we're probably going to be letting the air out of the balls after the game . It's been a while since we've had good balance scoring out of several of our team on the same night.

They AVERAGE 78 points a game. That seems like a heck of a lot for a girl's team. Probably a lot more than our guys.

One thing you say about the Sunbelt is that we have some good women's basketball. Maybe they score a lot of points. But maybe they don't play defenses like MTSU or UALR either. I don't think the Racers are ready for what they are going to run into tonight.

I agree with your assessment. As entertaining as I find Chastity’s play, when we play good it has to be a team effort. Anshel Cooper is the player with the most minutes of anyone on the team. I feel a good game from her is critical. Chastity’s average FG is higher but she takes more shot and Anshel has the higher percentage.

The sixth lady and first off the bench, Shanika Butler has really saved us in a few games. We go 8 or 9 deep consistently and we need them all to show up tonight against this team.

RE: If the Ladies have ever played defense,
I'd sure like to see Asriel have a good game. Given that the Racers apparently don't play much defense, Asriel might get double digit assists. Wouldn't that be something..!
