My review of Hot Springs
Well I got home from Hot Springs late last night and I've had plenty of time to relax and reflect on the weekend.

I must say, my only real complaint with the city of Hot Springs is a lack of things to do after 9pm. Obviously the hotel bars were open, so we found stuff to do, but a lot of stuff does close pretty early, also being a vacation destination a good bit of restaurants were closed on Sunday and Monday, some places were even closed Sunday-Wednesday.

My group ate at:
Picante-I had the seafood enchilada, which was freaking incredible
Hawg's Pizza-Pretty good pizza, cool local hole in the wall atmosphere.
Rod's Pizza cellar- Awesome. Great pizza.
Fisherman's Wharf- Cool place I had scallops that were awesome
Belle Arte-Dinner menu was a bit pricey, went for lunch. For about $9 I had pretty great Chicken Parm.

I enjoyed all the places that we ate and would go back to all of them, but would say that I will definitely go back to Rod's and Picante. Places that I didn't make it to this year, but will definitely next year are Cajun Boilers and McClard's.

My group also played a 72 hole putt-putt tournament, which was a lot of fun. Pirate's Cove putt-putt is one of the best putt-putt places I've ever been to.

All and all I'd give Hot Springs a B maybe even B+. I really had an excellent time and can't wait for next year. Hopefully the local business will stay open a little later next year. I think that this could be a great relationship between the conference and the city of Hot Springs.

Glad you enjoyed yourself. Be sure to try McClard's next time. World famous BBQ and tamales!

Look out for old man McClard though. He's been known to run off a few folks sitting in his parking lot.
