RE: John Stewart Strikes Again
Stewart certainly tore Cramer apart, but he didn't give Cramer much chance to defend himself. It seemed that every time Cramer tried to make a point, Stewart interupted him and went on another tirade. To me, the show didn't seem like much of a discussion or interview. I don't think Stewart was really interested in what Cramer had to say, all he wanted to do was let off some serious steam, and the attack just happened to be directed at Cramer. I would have liked for the show to have been more of an interview or discussion instead of listening to Stewart talk and talk and talk.

Aren't rants and tirades pretty much standard fair on most political & sports talk shows where the object often appears to be NOT to educate but to talk over the other guests & drowning out opposing voices making viewers heads spin?

Participants have been well schooled in the art of persuasion and mass media techniques proven more effective than not.

Thanks, Jerry Springer and others for popularizing the tenor for dumbing down America and eliminating respectful dialogue for the masses.

Cramer rightfully so IMO was a lamb with a loud mouth know it all persona outside his comfort zone & taken down a path by a Lion.

Even weatherman are occasionally very accurate but Cramer seems to create more heat than light. If he were a weatherman his forecasts would be mixed with a daily dose of political innuendos decrying the false premises of those believing in the possibility of climate changes caused by mankind.

Sadly, yes, this is true. It's one reason I rarely watch such talk shows.
