Cal-Poly, Pepperdine, and ASU and all were on the road. Now we find out if we can beat a pretty good team without him.

Patterson is going to play 30-plus minutes at point, and Lionel can fill in for the balance. III can play most of the minutes at the 2, and John can slide over when needed. It shouldn't be an insurmountable problem. The main deficit will be someone being able to make a play off the dribble.

I think we had 3 guys play 35 minutes last night. Some people might argue that fatigue might be an issue. I've always found it hard to believe that this is an excuse for 20 year old athletes, especially when they have about 48 hours in between games.

Since the advent of the media timeout, I can't see how fatigue would be very much of a factor. A 2-3 minute break each half ought to be enough. Remember Graber in 5 overtimes?

I agree with you and Mickey, 18 and 20 year old guys should be able to go 40 minutes when they have. As the part about Graber, Zack Graber's don't grow on trees. He was one tough little warrior.
