I don't think Shields has a choice
Even though he made a mistake playing Stevie, or even allowing him back on the bench, he now has to do whatever he ought to have done. If he doesn't future discipline is going to be destroyed.

Should be "The Highway" for Stevie. Sorry politically correct members of the board, whomever you might be. We can probably find him a nice place to play next year. Maybe where Zach Wright went.03-melodramatic

Yes. He went to a D2 school in Missouri, Central Missouri, and had a great senior season. He was first team all region and was an honorable mention D2 All American. Talent was not his problem. 03-banghead

Eggins,DeAndre 23 374 16.3

Malone,Lekheythan 25 294 11.8

"Politically correct members of the board"? What is that supposed to mean? You think its "politically correct" to support a player who deserts his team, coaches, and fans during the middle of the biggest game of the year? Do you think that its "politiclly correct" to show up an entire program by putting on sweats and go sit in the stands during the game he just walked off from? That's horseshit.

I am so sick of all this politically correct crap. Is no one held accountable for anything anymore?

Read what I said again. We are saying the same thing. I was referring to those people who always find a reason to excuse any behavior and nobody ever has to take responsibility for his or her actions. Just the opposite of what Stevie did being politically correct. I find no excuse for his behavior.01-lauramac2
