Best game attendance since being a Belt member
Curious. what is your highest single game home attendance since being a Belt member. Attendance at your home stadium, not a neutral or secondary venue.

Beleive that Arkansas State has had crowds of over 30,000 for a couple of games.

For North Texas, our biggest home attendance at Fouts since being a member of the Sun Belt is 29,437 vs Baylor in 2003.

A true sellout of 21,000+ (dont recall the exact number) was in effect when FAU played USF in 07 at Craphart.

Yeah, stAte vs Memphis is a good crowd as the two schools are only about 90 minutes apart and have a long history.

We had over 33,000 for the McNeese state game in 2007 but we hold the conference record for most people at a game between 2 Sunbelt teams. That game was last year when we had 29,000 for the FIU game.

When we played #17 Missouri we sold out the stadium (30,000).

We nearly sold out MGVS when we played Alabama State a few years back.

We sellout at 31,000 I believe but we had an overflow crowd for the McNeese game. Over 37,000 were at the Texas A&M game in 1996 but I didn't mention that one because we were not Sunbelt at that time.

this past season against Alcorn State (oddly enough) we had a record attendance, not to sure what it was though. But that stadium was packed!! Now compare that to the "championship" game against Arkansas State.... there was probably 1,000 people there.... including the Sound......... pretty sad if u ask me......

04-jawdrop THAT is one of the most beautiful pictures of a stadium I have EVER seen. Kudos, FIU Panther Fan.

in all fairness, that pic at the end of the Arkansas State game is not a good representation of our normal attendance. first of all it was freazing, second...we won by a landslide, and when i say landslide, i mean the game was over early in the 3rd. I left early, my wife was ready to go before half-time. i made her stay until i could get my championship tshirt.

Yes I understand that... But i believe if we (the sound) have to stay then the Loyal Trojan fans should have stayed too. Our attendance was amazing all season until it got cold... which started at the ULL game which was a lot better than stAte but not by much. It was still a great game even though it was a "blowout"!!!

and another note attendance at the WIN game tonight against MTSU was a record 2,735!!!!! it was a amazing, everyone stuck together to root the team on! Go Trojans!!!

A very nice crowd at Trojan Arena. Troy's had really good attendance this year. Trojan Arena is going to be absolutely packed and jumping when WKU comes to town. The student section was filled up to the lobby for the MTSU game, so imagine what it will be like for the WKU game!

I don't think we've ever had a sellout at Troy. We've had decent attendance numbers, but no sellouts. What probably kept that game from selling out was the Thursday night primetime ESPN slot. Unless you live within an hour of Troy, it would be hard to make it there and be inside by kickoff after work.

Here is a pretty nice picture by BMarkey of the 2004 Troy-Missouri game.

This one that sotsclarinet08 posted is of the 2006 Troy-Alabama State game.

Not to knit pick - but the Missouri Crowd was a "sell-out" in that 30,000 tickets were sold - however the actual crowd (actual butts-in-seats attendance) was 26,574.
