Interesting that from the introduction of Sun belt Conference football in 2001, six team have won or shared the championship. In the eight years of play, the championship has been shared in four.

I'll go out on a limb and say it will be between FIU and stAte this year.

This will be the best team stAte has had in a long time. If we doen't at least make a bowl game this year I expect to see changes in the coaching staff.

FIU will be scary this year. I wouldn't be suprised if they win all conf. games this year.

Haven't you probably said that Troy is going undefeated in the SBC about 3 years now? Still have not done that yet.

Troy alwasy seems to slip up and lose once a year against a random SunBelt team.

stAte has to come to Murfreesboro this year. Which even if you have the amazing team you expect, will be like Superman trying to play on a field made of Kryptonite.

Yeah, we always seem to slip up...but we also always seem to win the conference. I'm going to call for an undefeated season this year in the Belt as well. I don't usually do that, so don't think of me as a homer. But this coming season we are going to be crazy good. This will be the best team the Sun Belt has ever fielded.

You keep talking about FIU coming around...
So they won some games last year, they still haven't proven anything yet.

FAU had a bad start last year, but look how we finished. We will fly under the radar, as usual... Rusty will have a big senior year, along with our returning offense, which will be dangerous, and the D can't be worse, so hell, they may do better.

Always seem to win the conference ? Not exactly. 5 years in the conference with 1 conference title and 2 ties for the title is good, but not always

MTSU is our kryptonite, but we did win last year. I said stAte would have its best team, but that doesn't always turn into wins. Our coaching staff has yet to prove they can win on the road. Anything less than a bowl will be the last of this coaching staff. We have the talent we just need the coaches to use it.

TROY has proven itself to be the dominant program in the Conference recently. We may slip up here or there, but we've claimed the title in some form or fashion the past three years. This year will make 4, with 2 being outright.
