The official Catamount website states he died in May of 1988, but I could've sworn he died AFTER the '88 season. And who took the reins after him? Someone refresh my memory, it's been a long day. GO CATS!

I found my answer on one of Steve White's columns at the official site. He died in May of 1989, not 1988.

One of the best and classiest coaches ever in the SoCon. Wish App had had him (including playing there).
