Recruiting continues to improve for Tops
Western Kentucky football is about to go 3-for-3.

Three NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision recruiting classes, that is, each one seemingly better than the last.

Coach David Elson’s Hilltoppers are expected to sign perhaps their highest-rated class ever Wednesday on National Signing Day. With an expected 25 verbal commitments overall according to several published reports, WKU’s 2009 class currently ranks No. 1 overall in the Sun Belt, according to recruiting Web site Scout.com. (Another recruiting site, Rivals.com, ranks the Hilltoppers at No. 4 in the league.)

good stuff. if the toppers can begin contributing to the conference in football like they do in basketball, we'll have a lot more to boast about.

It does indeed look like a pretty good class for WKU. They've picked up some nice size players and some speedy guys.
