Hey Clyde, do you know how to put this link on the EMU facebook page?? It asks for a vote for the top player in the country not invited to the combine......TJ Lang is one of the 5 players listed. Lets see if we can get some votes for the large Lang lad. Thanks.

TJ has dropped to a close 3rd out of the 5 players listed in the CBS Sports poll. Let's see if we can push him into at least 2nd (he's only 1 % behind). Several WMU, NIU, and Toledo fans jumped in to push him up a few % points last week (and in to second).

Excellent video...I knew it was getting real serious when he made the all-star team for all the senior games combined!

What can you tell us about the draft process? Are teams calling him? Does all that go through his agent? Any chance that the Lions will go after him?

In addition to Lang, who we know will be drafted. Any word on the other seniors, Holzclaw in particular? Thanks

In regards to Holtzclaw, haven't heard much. Heard he has an agent and that he's working out to get ready for the pro day. (anyone know when the pro day will be held??).

I think the Claw will have to make it through the free agency route, but he is the kind of guy he could impress at a pro day event...big, strong, and fast.

I heard the EMU pro day is in conjunction with the UM pro day. Is this true? If TJ works out it should bring in plenty of scouts to see the Claw and others....

Daniel has an agent and has been in New Jersey training very hard, and probably niot very happy and I dont blame him, he really got screwed with no combine invite or all-star games, which IMO he deserved both. While in El Paso we had dinner with TJ and one of his teammates, who just happens to be Daniel`s roommate in New Jersey, he called Daniel the most intense guy he`s ever met...lol....we all know that too well! EMU`s pro day is March 16th and UM`s is the 13th, plenty of scouts will be there. None of the scouts at the Texas game could believe Tj didnt get a combine invite, but they all said they would be at the pro day which is also good for Daniel, Im sure Josh and Jacob will workout also. As for the Lions...all NFL teams had scouts at the Texas game and all but 2 talked to TJ or his agent, guess who 1 of them was????.....you got it!!...the Lions!...TJ has interviews/visits in April in Chicago and Jacksonville.....IMO again, watch for TJ and Daniels stock to rise after their pro days.....

How clueless is the NFL.com site in their player rankings? They still show TJ as like the 35th tackle in the draft. Most sites I've read have him as a top 10 guard...and some as a top 10 tackle. It's like the NFL site has not updated anything after all the senior bowls....

Warrior, I gotta ask....have the Lions made contact yet? Last we discussed, they were one of just a couple teams in the league that hadn't made contact.

Also, what teams seem to be showing the most interest?

EA, I havent been to the NFL.COM site yet, but being 35th is a bit ridiculous, sounds like they havent done their homework. Im not sure why some sites still have him at tackle, but he keeps moving up in them also. Some sites are very good at updating info like draftdaddy, darftguys, nfldraftscout, profootballweekly to name afew, most update at least weekly, some daily. (thats draftguys not darftguys) As far as I know, the Lions havent contacted, they may have contacted his agent, Im not sure, sometimes I go through communication blackouts...lol...(Im sure you know what I mean) From what I hear it seems the Jaguars and Bears ahve had the most contact. The Dolphins had a scout in Ypsi Monday to talk to him because they cant make pro day Monday. On the 25th he goes to Baltimore, on April 2nd Chicago and April 16th he goes to Jacksonville...pro day cant get here fast enough!......
