There is little, if any, interest in EMU sports in Lansing. As far as the MAC goes, it is very much CMU territory. It's not surprising that Staudt and other reporters don't spend any time researching the reality of Eastern athletics. He just needed a to fill some space and shot from the hip. Not for the first, or last, time.

Ah the joys of living in Lansing and being a EMU alum. As I stated before Staudt kisses CMU's royal ass and when Schmitt set new NCAA records two weeks in a row even though he is from St John's nada nothing. When EMU beat CMU AT THE TIME nothing was said although Staudt trashed talked EMU in few weeks before. Hey Tim, EMU has had as many wonderful Mid Michigan athletes on its team as CMU Steve Johnson, Jacob Wyatt, Bridger Buche (both Wyatt and Buche was LSJ athletes of the year winners)a few years Jari Brown who went from a prop 48 to a honor graduate after IU pulled his scholie and forgot to tell him, Andy Schmitt just to mention a few.

I am soooooo over Tim State. If it is not state or cmu, then it does not matter. I am sooooo over him. The worst thing is, once he is called out, he won't even make a correction. He is a pompous a** who puts a bad name out there for sports reporters. (Fred Heumann is real close behind). Why can't we get some respect. Wyatt, Schmitt, Buche... he covered them all in high school, where is the respect!!!!
