Top RB commits to Troy
RB Demond Dennis decommitted from Georgia Tech and committed to Troy yesterday. Instead of sharing time with multiple RB's in GT's triple option, he wanted to be a feature back for a spread offense.

Has offers from Georgia Tech, Illinois, Louisville, Auburn, East Carolina, Miami(OH), WKU, and UAB.

RE: Top RB commits to Troy
We are going to be sick on offense next year...

QB- Levi Brown, Jamie Hampton

RB- Dujuan Harris, Maurice Greer, D. Dennis

WR- Jerrel Jernigan, Josh Jarboe, Tiberius Gill, Darius Morgan, Austin Silvoy, Cornelius Williams, Andrew Davis, Chip Reeves, etc...

And we return three starters on the offensive line including our center.

2009 Sun Belt Champs here we come...

don't worry about sounding like FAU. they are a one-hit wonder program (so far) that let their heads get too big. TROY is the most consistent program in the Sun Belt in recent years. Everyone knows the way to build is to be consistent.

1 co-championship and back to back bowl wins in three years of FBS Membership is NOT a one hit wonder.

We did get ahead of ourselves and our expectations were set to high. Its a lesson Troy already learned but from what Im reading you guys are setting yourself up again for. Dont make our mistake.

Troy is the most consistent program in the SBC. I will grant you that.

That's better than being a none-hit-wonder. 03-hissyfit

RE: Top RB commits to Troy
Last time I checked, FAU had won two consecutive bowl games.

A couple of supposed Troy fans (here and elsewhere) let their mouths get in the way of common sense and civil discourse - in the process, giving Troy a bad name. I apologize for them.

I wouldn't exactly say FAU's a one-hit wonder. They had a nice 2007 season and were able to turn around their 08 season and beat one of the MAC's best in a bowl.

Setting asside my Troy bias - I think FAU is doing a good job and helping elevate the SBC along with MTSU. The league needs ASU to get consistant and UNT to remember how to play football - i am not sure there is much hope for the UL-pickems. FIU and WKU should help the conf. as well if they develop as planned.

ahh come'on i'm just messing around. i agree completely with the FIU and WKU assessment. FIU looks to really be on the right path, pulling in all sorts of talent from the Miami area.
