RE: Fresno State at Toledo game thread
Coach Amstutz said in the post-game that the decision to go for two was a decision he made taking the welfare of his players into consideration. FSUs RB got hurt on his last carry, and it was really getting slick out there with the dew settling on the turf. The players had just gone through 3 1/2 hours of regulation and two overtimes. Regulation ended at midnight, and there was at least 1/2 hour of OT. He felt it was time to win it or lose it and made the call. I couldn't argue with the call.

This one hits you in the gut like the Iowa State one two years ago. I'll agree with others though - I have a lot more confidence in this team.

what was with the fight that was in the student section? Ended up seeing 10 cops there cuffing a few punks 05-mafia

then someone in section 33/34 had the paramedics up there for an entire quarter and ended up being carried out? I dont think it was a fight or anything... did this poor young lady just pass out?

a typical frat fight. this same frat is involved in fights at games pretty much every year. they dont really care about the game, they just get wasted, smoke and drink in the stands, then leave at halftime to drink more. makes me glad i never joined one of those organizations.

All UT students who aren't in frats hate frat guys. Frats at UT are not popular. They all think they are the s**t and are way cooler than everyone else.

yes, i had front row seats for the brawls. it was the frat that always lights the cannon that get in all the fights. it started when one of the frat guys held up the wooden stick with the letters on it, and the non frat kid behind him tore it down, then all hell broke lose. the non frat kids got kicked out, but all the frat members got to stay at the game and were bragging on how many punches they landed on the kids. i am not sure why they all bring those big letter sticks to the game anyway. i have not seen that at any other schools. the fight at halftime i heard got started because some guy punched or kicked a girl, but im not totally sure on that one.

Actually..... two Fresno players were peeing into plastic bags right in front of us (as descretely as they could up by the wall next to an equipment case) during the overtime. Guess there wasn't enough time to run back to the locker room to take care of business.

With the ridiculous way the NCAA does the overtime, I agree that there is not time to go to the locker room and take care of business.
