I was just curious. With the talk of dividing up the television contract money by giving a larger portion to those appearing on television I had a thought. How much larger of a portion do you think those teams will get if the conference decides to do that? Will it only apply to the home team or both teams, only football or include basketball? Any thoughts?

One thing that I had heard is that if a school moves there game from Saturday to some other week night to accomodate TV scheduling, the conference will pay that school $50K for the inconvenience.

Anyone know if there is any truth to this?

Boise State seems to think they will get at least $50,000 per game moved from Saturday to a week day for ESPN. But I have not seen the source of that information. I believe it was mentioned in the Statesman.

even though this means less for us overall, I think it's a fair rule.
We only had one national TV appearance last year, and 3 regional appearance unlike other WAC teams who had 3 national tv games.
