Your definition of small is bigger than mine. I am far too old for cheerleaders now. But ex-cheerleaders would be Okay............whoops......I just remembered that I am married.

In August, I will be married to a grandma! Ouch!

Okay all you TU fans.

I am in Tulsa every 6 to 8 weeks. Where are the "good local" establishments for food.

I am sick and tired of the chains.

Send me an email and I'll help you out. Make sure to let me know if you have a car in Tulsa and about where you are staying. 03-wink

No, I'm definitely NOT "Dr. Laura". And I don't have my Ph.D. either. :D

(The Syracuse one is an MLS... I'd once started a Ph.D. at Rice, but quit & went to library school instead.)

Nope... MLS = Master of Library Science. I'm a cataloger and math/computer science librarian.

Damn....mind thinking one thing and fingers typing something else....of course I meant LIBRARY Science.

I think my wife would love doing something along those lines. She has degrees in graphic arts and technical writing. She is thinking about going back to school to pickup some credits and start teaching or being a librarian.

Do you like what you do?

Yes, I do. :) There's some nice variety in my job; and even the stuff that's not exactly interesting (because face it, if a job is never boring, then chances are it's dangerous!) is never too mind-numbing.

Most MLS programs are 36 credit hours, I believe. It might be more if she wanted to do school librarianship (which in many places also requires a teaching certificate and some classroom experience).
